Terms & Conditions for WebSnug.

1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the WebSnug platform, including our website builder, hosting, domain management and business email services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating a WebSnug account or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms.

WebSnug is operated as a sole trader business based in Ireland. References to "we", "us" or "our" mean WebSnug. References to "you" or "your" mean the individual or business purchasing the Service.

2. The Service

WebSnug provides small businesses with:

• An AI-assisted website builder and editor
• Website hosting on our server infrastructure
• Domain name management and connection
• Up to three business email addresses per subscription
• A customer portal at portal.websnug.com

We reserve the right to modify, improve or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We will give reasonable notice of any significant changes.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at support@websnug.com.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to enter into a binding agreement on behalf of any business you register.

4. Subscription and payment

WebSnug operates on a monthly subscription basis. Your subscription begins when payment is confirmed and continues on a rolling monthly basis until cancelled.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge the applicable monthly fee to your chosen payment method. All prices are in Euro and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days' written notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your portal dashboard or by contacting us at support@websnug.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

We do not offer refunds for partial months of service. If you cancel mid-month, your website and email services will remain active until the end of the period you have already paid for.

In exceptional circumstances (such as a billing error on our part), we will issue a refund at our discretion.

6. Your content

You retain full ownership of all content you upload or create using the Service, including text, images, logos and any other materials ("Your Content"). By using WebSnug, you grant us a limited licence to host, display and deliver Your Content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

You are solely responsible for ensuring Your Content:

• Does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
• Is not defamatory, unlawful or harmful
• Complies with all applicable Irish and EU laws
• Does not contain spam, malware or malicious code

We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms without notice.

7. Domains and email

Where you provide a domain name for connection to your WebSnug site, you confirm that you are the registered owner of that domain or have authority to use it. WebSnug is not responsible for domain registration, renewal or transfer — these remain your responsibility with your domain registrar.

Business email accounts provided under your subscription are hosted on our mail server infrastructure. Email accounts are tied to your active subscription and will be deactivated if your subscription lapses.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Host or distribute illegal, harmful or offensive content
• Send spam or unsolicited bulk email
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Overload our infrastructure in a way that disrupts service for other customers
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent

Breach of this section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

9. Uptime and availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled maintenance, technical issues or circumstances beyond our control may occasionally result in downtime. We will endeavour to notify you in advance of planned maintenance where possible.

WebSnug does not offer a formal uptime SLA at this time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, WebSnug's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with the Service shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss of revenue, profits, data or business opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, fail to pay your subscription, or engage in any activity that puts our platform or other customers at risk.

On termination, your website will be taken offline and your email accounts deactivated. We recommend downloading a copy of your site content before cancelling. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination in case of dispute, after which it will be permanently deleted.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after that period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
